As of a few weeks ago, I no longer work at Crashlytics. For those of you who know me know that this was a big step, as I’ve been deeply involved in the startup scene here in Boston for many years. In fact, working at startups became a part of who I was (and still am). Along the way, through working at Backupify and Crashlytics, I had the opportunity to meet and work with some truly amazing people. I learned a ton about myself along the way. I also learned a lot about business and how to build a successful company.
So, what’s next for me?
I am going on to do something that really, really excites me. I am working on building a freelance/consulting (I honestly dislike both words, so call it what you’d like) business for myself. I believe so strongly in making brands human and organically growing a business from word-of-mouth and other genuine inbound marketing techniques. After talking to several really, really exciting companies (startups and non-startups alike) and finding that they all needed that exact piece of the puzzle solved, I knew this was for me.
