Our process is not for everyone, and we’re okay with that. We believe in partnership, and in becoming a true extension of your team. This delivers the best chance of success for both sides.

So, naturally, one of the first questions clients ask us is, “What is your process?” We believe in total transparency, so here’s an overview of how we work at KDMedia:



Once you have filled out our Client Questionnaire, we begin with a call to understand the details of your marketing program, long- and short-term goals, and budget. We’ll discuss how we may be able to help (or let you know if we feel we’re not the best solution for you). If all aligns well and we find a mutual fit, we will create a proposal for you and decide together how we’d like to proceed.


Once we’ve fine-tuned the project details (scope, timeline, budget, etc.), both sides will sign our standard KDMedia contract, and we’ll get started with a kick-off meeting. We encourage all stakeholders in the project to participate so we can gather all the information needed, review and discuss everything pertinent to the project, and hit the ground running with you.

Things we will ask you for upon kick-off include: logos, logins, existing marketing documentation, metrics, and anything else required to enable KDMedia to successfully provide you with amazing marketing services (yes, we like to toot our horn a bit).

Open Communication and Ongoing Testing & Analytics:

  • This stage is the most important part as it dictates our day-to-day partnership. To achieve this, we place priority ensuring the following:
    • Collaboration and insightful discussions—not just assignments and deliverables. (Don’t worry—we do those, too.)
    • Honest feedback. If we think you’re barking up the wrong tree, we’ll tell you.
    • Testing and analysis, to find out what’s working for you. There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all marketing.
